Meet the GC&E Mentors
Metro International recruits and trains Global Careers and Education entors from a pool of more than 50,000 Fulbright scholars and other international university-level students from over 100 countries who are currently studying in the New York metropolitan area.
These mentors serve as role models for college education and career development for students struggling to overcome obstacles to attending college. The mentors' experience of adapting to a culture different to their own and speaking English as a second language makes this program particularly effective for immigrant students and first-generation New Yorkers.
